Come Learn to Make Pottery!

The pottery studio can be a creative space for self-expression, and a place to develop skills and grow.

It can be a place where you can gain a better understanding of yourself, and a place to care for yourself.

It can be a place to connect, to be silly, to be serious. It can feel frivolous or it can feel essential.

Our vision for the studio

Creating pottery in an art studio provides opportunities to connect with others who come together with a sense of purpose, pursuing a common, creative endeavor.

We hope the studio provides opportunities to share ideas and learn from each other; a space where new friendships are forged.

Pottery classes can be relaxing and a way to learn new skills.

The process of creating with clay can be a creative outlet. It may be a unique opportunity to be artistic and may be meaningful for those who need more of these opportunities in their lives.

Creating with clay can be stress relieving and relaxing.

Time in the studio can be a time for you to nurture your own interests, and find joy in learning.

We envision the studio to be a place where you can lose yourself in the act of making, a place with an atmosphere that contributes to wellbeing.

Details About classes

Ready to set aside three hours per week,

to connect with others, and make pottery?

Focusing on working with clay can be meditative, calming, and relaxing. Making pottery can be a soothing experience that may allow the body and mind to unwind.

We also realize that things may come up in our lives, and will make every effort to work with your schedule, and to arrange alternative times in the studio for class make-ups. Make-up classes are best arranged during the same session.
